NEW: Explore School Meals with My School Menus

My School Menus mobile app features

Finding school meal information is now easier than ever! For the 2026-27 school year, Huntley 158 is introducing My School Menus, a new digital platform designed to give families convenient access to interactive breakfast and lunch menus, detailed nutrition information, and important information about allergens and food sensitivities.

My School Menus offers an accessible, user-friendly way for families to explore school meal options and make informed choices based on their students’ dietary needs.

By visiting the My School Menus website and/or downloading the free mobile app, parents, staff and students can:

  • View and print breakfast and lunch menus;
  • View and filter nutritional information, allergens and ingredients to meet personal dietary needs; and
  • Translate menus into their preferred language

Menus can be accessed on the district and school websites or by downloading the mobile app. Search “My School Menus” in the App Store or Google Play.

 

MySchoolBucks

Huntley 158 uses MySchoolBucks as its web payment service provider for school meals. With MySchoolBucks, you can:

  • Add money any time of day to a student's cafeteria meal account (may take up to 24 hours to apply to the student account); 
  • View meal account balances and recent purchases; and
  • Set up low-balance alerts and automatic payments.

Note: This year processing fees will apply to all credit card transactions, including MySchoolBucks, to cover fees charged by credit card companies. Cash and checks are also accepted as payment for school meals. If paying by check, please make checks payable to Huntley School District 158 and include your student’s name and ID number in the memo line of the check.

See below for how to submit payments by checks or cash: 

  • Elementary school: Students may bring payments to school and give to their teacher. 
  • Middle school: Payments can be placed in the drop box outside the cafeteria. 
  • High school: Students are encouraged to drop off payments before school, if possible, at the register in the cafeteria. 

Meal and Fee Waivers

Meal and fee waiver applications for the 2026-27 school year can be found under Forms (see Food Services) on the district website. The list of students receiving state benefits (direct certification) has been released for the 2026-27 school year. Families who qualify should have received a letter in the mail from the district in early August.
