Attention all students 16 years or older: You can still sign up for Thursday's blood drive! You need to either scan the QR code on the posters around school OR see Ms. Davison in room W1203 to sign up. If you are 16, you MUST get a parent permission form from Ms. Davison in order to donate on Thursday. Sign up will close on TUESDAY at 2:30 PM. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Davison.
There is a one-day volleyball clinic for boys grades 5-12 on November 9th at Marlowe Middle School. Register at the D158 webstore.
Come Support Huntley High School Student Council at McAlister’s Deli on November 11th! Help raise funds by placing an order at McAlister’s between 10:30am and 9:00pm and drop your receipt in the designated plastic container on the counter. Every order counts—thank you for your support!
This month, Huntley 158's RAD team is celebrating diversity alongside World Kindness Day. Join us in spreading kindness from November 11–15. Our planned acts of kindness are inspired by Native American values: empathy, respect, interconnectedness, community, and generosity. Listen to the announcements or follow us on social media @RADat158 to learn the theme of the day. You can find a list of items that are most needed for both locations posted on our social media @RADat158 or use the link in our Instagram bio. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
- Nov 11: "Walk in Another’s Moccasins" – Try an activity from our engagement calendar (QR code around campus and online).
- Nov 12: "Respect All Life" – Join us in a community clean-up!
- Nov 13: "Interconnectedness" – Give a high-five, share a kind word, and connect with others on World Kindness Day.
- Nov 14: "Community Focus" – Look out for painted kindness rocks around town.
- Nov 15: "Generosity & Giving" – RAD students will donate to Grafton Food Pantry and Animal House Shelter. Check our social media for needed items that you can donate.
RAD is collecting donations for Animal House Shelter and The Grafton Food Pantry in honor of World Kindness Day and inspired by the Native American principle of generosity and giving. Please drop off donations in any of the RAD donation boxes located in the pod offices, and in rooms W1005 & C2004 no later than November 15th.
There will boys track and field preseason opportunities on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on this Monday, November 11. These will take place after school in the field house starting at 2:45 and we will be finished by 4:00 for those of you who need rides. See you then.

The SnowRaiders ski & snowboarding club will have 2 student/parent informational meetings this year. Returning families will attend on Tues November 12th starting at 6:30 in HHS Cafe. If you didn't pick up a handbook at lunch last week, they can be found on the SnowRaider's website.
Have you felt unseen and like there is no community for you? Do you seek to meet with other students like you and discuss how you feel? Play games like trivia, future field trips, and collaboration? Then come down to the Big Candy event in the Black Box from 7:15 to 7:30 am on November 13th to win prizes for trivia questions at the Black Student Union.
Film Club will be meeting Wednesday, November 13th in room C2006 from 2:30 to 3:45 to watch our next film. If you are interested in joining film club. contact Mrs. Downing or Ms. Wills. Here is a clue to our next film. Buono Giornata.
Calling All World Travelers, interested in visiting Buckingham Palace in London, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or the mighty Colosseum in Rome. The Huntley Travel Program will be holding an informational meeting on Thursday November 14th at 7pm in the cafeteria to discuss the itinerary, price, and answer any questions about this amazing trip.. Please see Mr. Aney in W1210 if you would like a flyer for this once in a lifetime trip to London, Paris, & Rome during Spring Break 2026.
Girls bowling try outs will be on Tues 11/19, Weds 11/20 & Friday 11/21. Please sign up and get your physical done.
