We are excited to launch Change for a Chance, a district-wide fundraiser encouraging students, families, staff, and community members to donate spare change to support kids with cancer. Small change – the coins found in pockets, drawers, and under couch cushions – can make a big difference when combined to fund life-saving research, giving kids fighting cancer a chance to live long, healthy lives. Each school has a staff member willing to shave their head or receive a pie in the face at the Battle of the Bald event, and the school that raises the most money will earn a traveling trophy engraved with their school name, year, and total raised. Collection containers are available in the school office from February 2 through February 25. A percentage of all monetary donations will directly benefit District 158 kids fighting cancer. Kids with cancer need us. Will you give them a chance?
Remember Raiders, every day is a day to be your best. Be the Raider Way: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Involved!
