Be Respectful:

No ISI incidents

No OSS incidents

Be Responsible: Cumulative average is greater than 70%
Be Involved:

No unverified (UNV) or unexcused (UA) absences

2 or less tardies to the class period during the semester

Any student meeting these benchmarks in a class may be exempt from taking the final exam for that class.  Students may choose to take exams even if they meet the exemption benchmarks.

Senior Final Exam Dates

Seniors who are not exempt from Final Exams or choose to take Final Exams will follow the schedule below:

Periods 1-4 on Monday, May 11th, from 8:00 am-12:00 pm

Periods 5-8 on Tuesday, May 12th, from 8:00 am-12:00 pm

Students can take final exams at any time between 8:00 am and 11:30 am in the Central Gym.  To ensure students have time to finish, no exams will be started after 11:30 am.

Books / Chromebook Return

  • Book return will be May 7th & 8th during school hours. You may return your books to your pod secretary on these days. If you need your books to study for finals, you may return them the following week to door 1.

  • Chromebooks need to be turned in to the Tech office by May 8th.

  • Any outstanding textbook fines and Chromebook fines must be paid before graduation. Failure to pay all fines associated with the student account will result in the student's transcript being withheld until fines are paid in full.

  • Seniors taking AP digital exams need to keep their Chromebooks until they take their exam.

Diploma Pick-Up

Students not attending the graduation ceremony can pick up their diploma May 18th - May 22nd during school hours.

FAFSA

FAFSA is a graduation requirement. State law requires all Illinois public high school seniors to complete:

1) Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) OR
2) Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid (Alternative Application) OR
3) Non-Participation Form, as a prerequisite to receiving a high school diploma.

Google Takeout

Google Takeout is a service that lets you download a copy of the data that Google associates with your student's account.

  • Graduating Seniors are eligible for Google Takeout to migrate their District account Google Drive/Gmail into a personal Google account.

  • Once District accounts for graduating Seniors are closed, all Google Drive files and Gmail emails will be inaccessible. It is recommended that graduating Seniors migrate their District account to a personal Google account to prevent losing potentially valuable files.

  • Instructions for using Google Takeout can be found on this Google Doc.

Lunch Balances

  • All lunch balances need to be paid before graduation.

Please see the procedures below for money left on a graduating senior’s lunch accounts.

  • If the balance is under $5.00, the student will need to pick up the balance from the cafeteria before their last day of school.

  • If the balance is over $5.00 and the senior has a sibling/s in the district, the money is transferred to the oldest sibling’s account after the last day of school.

  • If the balance is over $5.00 and the senior has no sibling in the district, the money is refunded to the parent on the student's account records, after the last day of school. (This can take up to 6 weeks)

  • Please note: If you have auto-replenish set for MySchoolBucks, please disable this function, or your account will continue to replenish below the level you requested.

Final Transcript Request

  • If you are attending a two-year college, four-year college/university, or trade school in the fall, you will need to send your final transcript to that school.

  • Final transcripts should be requested through Parchment.

  • You may log into your Parchment account at any time to order your final transcript. Be sure to select the option that reads “hold for grades.” Doing so will ensure your final transcript is sent out only after the 2nd-semester grades are final.

If you have any questions about your Parchment account, please contact Parchment support services directly at http://support.parchment.com/. If you still need to create your Parchment account, please see your Student Services Pod secretary for assistance. Requests after August 1st will incur a processing fee.
