Opportunities to Get Involved

We value a partnership between school and families and invite those interested to explore the opportunities to get involved listed below.  

Parent Power Team

The HHS Parent Power Team is a parent group that meets with building administration and discusses the state of Huntley High School from a parent’s perspective. This is a time for us to hear from parents and understand how to continue to move HHS forward and how we can best support all students.  Information about meetings will be sent out in the Family Raider Times. 

HHS Athletic Boosters

The HHS Athletic Boosters are a parent organization supporting all our athletic programs. Parents volunteer to work concessions, design and sell spirit wear, and fundraise for capital improvements (East Gym competition court, baseball/ softball scoreboards, and much more). There are many opportunities to be involved with this group if your student is involved in athletics or you just have an interest and want to be involved.

HHS Fine Arts Boosters

The HHS Fine Arts Boosters are a parent organization that supports the arts at HHS. Parent volunteers work with the fine arts department to fundraise, work events, help build sets, and much more. This active group is perfect if your child is involved in HHS theatre, music programs, art programs, or you just have a passion for the arts.

We encourage all of our students to find ways to get involved outside of their academic day to stay connected to our building. We firmly believe that involvement in extra-curricular activities enhances the high school experience. Join us and be involved in HHS as a parent volunteer.
